Lead by Yasset Perez-Riverol, BigBio is an open-source framework of tools, algorithms, file formats and resources to enable large-scale data analysis of multiomics data. BigBio organization in Github groups a set of projects that enable the analysis of proteomics, proteogenomics and multiomics datasets in a cloud, distributed and large-scale enviroments.
Multiple groups and teams contributes and maintain the Big Bioinformatics Stack (BigBio) projects:
- OpenMS: Most of the proteomics data analysis pipelines has been developed in collaboration with the OpenMS Team including the the proteomicsLFQ and proteomicsTMT
- Janne Lehtiö's Group: Proteogenomics tools has been developed in Coolaboration with Janne's Group
The BigBio team do not only develop and maintains software tools and bioinformatics solutions but also provides training 🗯️ and consultant to users and companies interested in our tools and frameworks.
