Lead by Yasset Perez-Riverol, BigBio is an open-source framework of tools, algorithms, file formats and resources to enable large-scale data analysis of multiomics data. BigBio organization in Github groups a set of projects that enable the analysis of proteomics, proteogenomics and multiomics datasets in a cloud, distributed and large-scale enviroments.
Multiple groups and teams contributes and maintain the Big Bioinformatics Stack (BigBio) projects:
- OpenMS: Most of the proteomics data analysis pipelines has been developed in collaboration with the OpenMS Team including the the proteomicsLFQ and proteomicsTMT
- Janne Lehtiö's Group: Proteogenomics tools has been developed in Coolaboration with Janne's Group
The BigBio team do not only develop and maintains software tools and bioinformatics solutions but also provides training 🗯️ and consultant to users and companies interested in our tools and frameworks.
We also publish in this Web page blog posts about our tools and libraries
We would like to have your feedback about the tools, pipelines and workflows including how we can improve them, new functionalities or even training around the tools
